Cheap Moving Trucks Can Help Reduce Stress when Relocating with Pets

Moving is never fun. Moving with a pet is an absolute disaster. Unless of course, you can get someone to take your animal while you relocate. In my case, that wasn’t a choice. I first needed to find a moving truck rental company. I had to move long distance and I could not do this without one. It took me a while to find one that met my needs. I searched on the Internet for cheap moving trucks and the results were too many. I ended up finding one after seeing a billboard that read, “truck rentals for moving”. I called the number and they had the lowest price and exactly the size of truck that I needed.
When the relocation began, I had to find a place for my kitten so she would not get away. I took her upstairs and closed her and her food and liter in my bedroom. That allowed me to move all the boxes and furniture from the downstairs into the truck. Now this was a move that I began on Friday and I was not thinking on leaving until early Sunday morning. So my cat had to live in my bedroom for almost two days. Having her food and liter in there was not something I very much liked. However, it was a thing that had to be done. If she had stayed downstairs, she would have surely got out and then I would have had to spend time looking for her.
After the lower level was loaded, I had to then relocate my kitten. I took her to the basement along with her food and liter. She remained down there while I moved the upper level to my house. The same process continued. On Sunday morning the loading was done and I was ready to leave. The fun part was about to begin.
Four hours in a truck with my kitten was not a fun time. She meowed for almost two hours. She was getting car sick and I could not take it. I called my vet and she said I should be giving the cat the injection she had given me. She told me it was in the best interests of my kitten if she was asleep. So I injected my kitten and she went to sleep. I finally arrived and my kitten was still asleep while I started to unload my belongings into my new place. It was not an easy move, but it was something that needed to be completed and I am glad it is over with.
