Get Some Facts Regarding Football

When it comes to sports, high school football is the main attraction for some schools, and those schools are very serious about it. I remember my high school was like that, and it seemed that we always had a pretty good team. Our basketball team never won, and the track team rarely had enough members to compete, but there was no shortage of those who wanted to play football. Though they have win some and lost some, they won many times and would end up in the state-wide series. Football was everything back then, and to my knowledge, it still is.
What I like about high school football is that there is usually something for everyone. Even the smaller boys can come across something to do with football, eventhough most of the positions are for those that are taller and thicker. There are also things to do to support the team like cheerleading and the band. Most people enjoy football, and if a team is good, the whole town comes out to support it.
Some students believe that high school football is fun since you only play one time a week. There is more to it though, a lot more. A lot of players have practice several days a week, if not after school each day. They are also being asked to run, and take some time to bulk up a bit in the school gym. Those that play high school football also have to take time to learn plays and strategy, and that leaves little time for study. Even then, the marks must be up to a certain point or team members might be barred from playing.
